Overview
This is a new offering and the very first release, coming from the Delfino Vineyard in the Umpqua Valley of Southern Oregon.  This region has been hailed as one of the best regions in the United States to grow Tempranillo.  Two Spanish clones of Tempranillo were used for the wine; Tinto del Pais (Rioja Clone) and Tinto del Toro (Toro Clone), each lending different complex characteristics to the wine. 

Tasting Notes
Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, black olive and leather dominate the nose with hints of plum, sage and tobacco.  Rich and full bodied on the palate with fine grained tannins and a dry finish.

Barrel Aging:  20 Months in Barrel, 100% French Oak (2nd and 3rd Passage)
